In the late 90's, this was perhaps one of the last interviews that Doris Day ever did. The only reason for it was that I had adopted a dog featured on the front page of the paper in Lexington, Ky. Her secretary at the time forwarded it to her as she sent me a personal letter, signed photo, and agreed to do a sit down interview about pets only. As you will hear it became much more than that. I have to admit that there was something special that day between us as she was one of the most enjoyable times I ever had just talking to one of America's biggest stars.
