While getting ready for her February 15th concert at the VRCFA in Portsmouth, I had the privilege of being Lorrie Morgan's official 'wake up' call for a live interview on the morning show. Lorrie was delightful and fun as we talked about everything from her daddy George Morgan taking her to work at the Grand Ol' Opry before she could walk. Over the years Lorrie has had over 40 music chart entries both in country and in Billboard magazine. With that, 14 were top ten and three went to #1. It's never easy to gather your wits first thing in the morning and do a radio interview, but Lorrie Morgan was so genuine and fun and that's what country music is all about! Thank you Lorrie!
