Description

Reds reserve outfielder Art Shamsky carved out a special bond in Cincinnati Reds History as a part -time player with full love from the fans. Art once hit three home runs in one game after entering it in the 7th inning. The same affinity happened when Art was traded to the New York Mets and was a key player when the Mets won it all in 1969. His legacy became secure in the TV show "Everyone Loves Raymond" when in honor of Art, they named his dog "Shamsky,"
