May 2nd, 2003 was the 200th anniversary of Portsmouth, Ohio being a city. As part of the celebration, the Portsmouth Visitors Bureau wanted "The Get Up and go Show" and MIX 99.3 to record our morning show on the anniversary date to be put inside a time capsule that is to be unearthed in 2053. Realizing that most of us won't be around by then, I am prematurly unearthing our bicentiennial celebration to give everyone a glinpse of the future 29 years early.
