In our first ever historical deep dive episode, our co-hosts celebrate the tenth anniversary of the iconic 2011 MLB season by unpacking it from start-to-finish. Along with special guest, Henry Bettencourt, they chronologically detail the events of that season from game 1 of the regular season all the way through the last out of the World Series. This season is jam-packed with a super tight regular season culminating in a wild game 162, super tight pennant races, and ends off with an epic World Series that many consider one of the greatest of all time. This deep dive is certainly worth checking out, even for those who know how it all ends.
*Episode edit: Boom Bostick mistakenly refers to David Freese as the ALCS MVP several times throughout this episode, but we would like to point out that he was in fact the NLCS MVP in 2011.*
Pour & Score drinks: Manhattan Project Necessary Evil Pilsner & Denton Country Brewing Co. Tony Hop Underground IPA.
