For this episode of the podcast Roof Juice, we'll be talking Ginoe is a visual artist, graphic designer, printmaker and community organizer born in Leyte and currently based in Silay City Negros Occidental. He works with found objects, scanography, textile, painting, drawing and printmaking to come up with his visual and conceptual assemblages. His works are hinged on the material culture of his locality (books, printed ephemera, personal archives, residue of consumption, folk religious objects) and transmutes them to form works that are tinged with cheeky defiance. We talked about his early influences, encyclopedia, his process in making work, and dancing.
