About Mary:

Mary Rahmani is the founder of the multidisciplinary creative agency, record label, and publishing company Moon Projects. Moon Projects was built to provide innovative solutions for artists and brands with stakes in the music industry and the creator economy. Rahmani is a leading expert in the worlds of short-form video, strategic creative partnerships, and A&R across emerging platforms. Prior to founding Moon Projects, Rahmani led the global music team at TikTok as Director of Music Content and Artist Partnerships, playing an integral role in the app’s meteoric rise. Rahmani comes with an extensive industry background with over 20 years in the music and entertainment industries and has previously held senior positions at various major and indie labels, and publishers, as well as serving as an artist manager. She also serves on the advisory board of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and is a Clio Music juror.
