On today's episode of Empowered in Health, I chat through some of my simple and easy tips for adding more quality protein into your day to day regimen.

Protein is one of the most crucial components when it comes to nutritional habits and fueling our bodies for energy and for life. Protein is one of the key drivers to building muscle mass and maintaining muscle mass. It also helps us feel full for longer, its an important building block for bone health and it plays a major role in helping muscles restore and repair for long-term strength.

Working to get .8-1gram of protein per pound of ideal body weight is the goal. And while it takes time to work your way into macronutrient balance and more, quality protein - with more practice, we can make progress.
