On today's episode of Empowered in Health, we're unpacking stress and how this imperative topic can play a massive role in our day to day wellness.

Often times, we think of health as getting into a better exercise routine or working on our nutritional habits. But are we addressing stress enough and how leaving the mental and emotional weight to wreak havoc in the background can cause all kinds of symptoms and issues? Because the truth is - it can. In addition to creating routines that serve our health from the inside out, we have to ensure we're taking steps to care for our nervous system and address stress.

For me personally - that's come from really taking the time to evaluate habits and asking myself "is this adding to the stress I already feel in my life?" This isn't an easy process - but a necessity for us as busy, overwhelmed moms. Addressing stress is CRUCIAL as we press forward towards our inside out wellness goals.
