On today's episode of The Momlife Mindset podcast, I share a little more about a conversation I had recently with a friend. We talked about overwhelm and having the will/strength to face the day. We talked about how sometimes, no matter what we do or no matter how hard we try, it always feels "off" - like we can never win or never give enough or never truly fulfill the needs of ourselves, our families and the day to day demands.

I related HARD to her feelings. And I know mothers everywhere can 100% understand the adversity I share in this episode. Motherhood is HARD freaking work. It's the greatest gift, the biggest blessing and the most fulfilling work, while at the same time being the hardest, most demanding, draining, exhausting, defeating work as we grow and learn along the way. 

I share some of my top tips to think about when it comes to really feeling the overwhelm. The importance of the PAUSE and the importance of pulling yourself outside of your own head to really look at the day from a birds eye view. At the end of the day - getting out of our own way and really digging inward on what we're saying to ourselves/what our mind is telling us, is some of the most powerful personal work we can do for our overall health.
