On today's episode of The Momlife Mindset Podcast, I share more about the newest launch coming to my mindset shop AND the deep, reflective place I've been sitting in as I approach my 40th birthday. I can't pinpoint exactly what it is - but I am becoming vividly aware of how fast life is moving, how I'm growing older and our kids are growing up. It's this weird place to realize that you're on the brink of some massive family transitions alongside a big birthday milestone.
That's one of the reasons I wanted to focus on PRESENCE with this year's Merry Mama launch at the shop. Being present, spending time with family and friends, making an effort to really soak in every teeny, tiny thing. That's my goal this year - more than ever before. To cut out even more distraction. To cut out even more screen time. To get into writing more and diving into the vision I have for my book and loving on my family every second I can get. It won't always be pretty and it definitely won't be perfect, but I know that the opportunity I have - right now - to enjoy this season - is the ONLY time in my life where it will be this way. As with everything - it will come and go. Time will keep moving and things will change.
My encouragement to you is to go deep and reflect. Ask yourself what you want most this holiday season and if presence and intentionality are two of your big goals (like mine) - what steps are you taking to minimize distraction and lean into the habits that will offer that energy most often?! It's a process - but one that's well worth it.
