On today's episode of The Momlife Mindset podcast - I share about the importance of staying grounded in gratitude and why appreciation matters so so much in our day to day lives. I've learned the hard way what can happen when you're overly focused on the future or stuck in beating yourself up about the past. It's not a fun and/or energizing place to be in mentally, emotionally, physically or spiritually.
When we focus on gratitude and appreciation - what we already have becomes enough. What we're doing can be celebrated. The life we have - today - can become the thing we think about most. When we remember how RICH we are because of the family and friends in our life, because of the time we've been given and because of our health - the added stress of the uncontrollable can slowly start to melt away. Life will always be filled with ups and downs, unpredictable hardship, loss and adversity - no doubt. But finding a way to stay grounded in the blessings we DO have is one of the fastest ways to maintain a sense of calm and peace.
