Before starting Wahine Toa Hunting, Pania was a self confessed 'hood bitch doing hood things'.
Now, many years later, Pania has travelled a journey of dealing drugs and stealing to now leading Wahine Māori on a journey of empowerment by teaching them how to use our natural resources to better themselves and their whānau whilst being invited to speak at soo many events that she can't even keep up with them all!
I caught up with Pania to talk about mental health, colonisation and what she experienced when she died before she was brought back to life.
