Multi talented and multi faceted artist, advocate and ambassador for all things mental health - Rob Mōkaraka joins @beatsiiide for episode 1 of season 4! Also a playwright and actor - he affiliates to Nga Puhi and Ngai Tuhoe and has also has been a part of renowned performing group The Māori Sidesteps. In July 2009 Mokaraka was struggling with his mental health and attempted "suicide-by-cop", an experience which he survived. He used this as the basis for the play, Shot Bro: Confessions of a Depressed Bullet, which has toured around community venues in Aotearoa since 2017.
