This week's Self-Care Tarot episode is a big one. Instead of our usual 1-2 Tarot card pulls to guide us, we're using a Tarot structure and theory to help us better understand the meaning of cycles. Using the Fool's Journey we will look into what the Tarot has to say about cycles and how we can use that wisdom in our everyday lives.
Tarot Journal Prompts
- Prompt 1: Let’s start with The fool himself. Write down a time when you were channelling the fool's carefree and risk-free nature. When was the last time you felt that weight lift from your shoulders? When was the last time you felt completely free?
- Prompt 2: Let’s look at your own self-actualisation journey. Write down a time when you have had an idea, whether it’s about yourself, a project, a job whatever it is. Write down how that idea came to you, how you moved forward with it, and how making the decision to follow that idea led you to a place of boosted confidence and self-reliance. It could literally be something as simple as learning to drive, starting a new fitness journey etc.
- Prompt 3: Next, let’s try and place you in the second chapter of the cycle. When have you come up against a new challenge or obstacle, how did it change you, how did it change your view on something, and what did you learn from that experience? Were you the same person coming out of this as you were going in?
- Prompt 4: Finally, take a look at your spiritual journey so far. If you’re listening to this podcast then you are on a spiritual journey, there would be no other reason for you to have found me otherwise! What started you on this path? What have your learned about yourself so far? What have you learned about the world so far? What more do you want to learn?
