A Growth Mindset can be taught in schools and there is a specific method of teaching to help do it - Project Based Learning.
#PBL is teaching through active engagement in real-world and personally meaningful projects. Some subjects are easier to implement PBL into than others but it allows the student to dive deeper into a topic (still subject related) that interests them. This gives the students more motivation and desire to learn.
Within PBL and found in great teachers, coaches, and parents, it is important to prompt thinking with questions. Silence is not deadly...it's powerful because that's when thinking is happening.
