Continuing in our series to walk the Path of Discipleship,
today’s topic is very simple yet difficult to follow. We are not to worry about gaining anything in this life, but instead seek the kingdom of heaven FIRST in everything we do.
Following are the verses we discuss:
1. “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on
earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in
heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.”
Matthew 6:19-20
2. “You cannot serve both God and money.”

3. “But seek first his kingdom and hisrighteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

4. “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear.”

5. “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.”
