At the beginning of Matthew chapter 10, Jesus gives his
disciples specific authority and sends them out with instructions. There are three distinct instructions he gives them – to Go, Preach, and Do. Then he tells them to give all of this freely and why they should do so.

2. “Preach this message: The kingdom of heaven is
near." (Matthew 10:7)
3. “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those
who have leprosy, drive out demons.” (Matthew 10:8a)
4. “Freely you have received. Freely give.” (Matthew 10:8b)
