Warnings: Implied/Referenced rape/non-con, Graphic depictions of violence, murder, war crimes. Chapter specific warnings: There is no ‘on screen’ non-con, but this chapter deals with the direct aftermath so there is mention of it verbally (and quite bluntly) and it is thought about a fair bit from view point characters. There is also observation and treatment of associated injuries, and some victim blamey thoughts (not verbalised)

Summary: Book one ends with two major differences: 1. Sokka went on the mission with Hahn (it did not go well) 2. Zhao survives the North Pole and that proves unfortunate for everybody (except Zhao, obviously)
Imprisoned on Zhao’s warship, Sokka and Zuko have to work together to survive. They are not very enthusiastic about this prospect.
And they argue.
