Description

I love the sight of paper boats

Sailing in the tub,

No sounds, no din, so peacefully unreal

Aye, there's the human rub,

For unless there is tumult and more

And the heart beats at its max,

Life today seems insecure

Without the phone and fax.

As if our ancestors didn't live

Or their lives were then a bore,

Cos all they had was love to give,

And the anchor of a shore.

But times have changed so much today

And the heart speaks no more,

Meanings anew to being in touch

Respect in the annals of yore.

Modern times and modern ways

Money talks and pleasure pays,

Someone remind the jet set

Mortality isn't dead yet !!!

Forever you will never live for sure

A hundred maybe, give or take a little more.
