On episode #19 of #FromDepressionToExpression, I sit down with Dr Stephen Broadhurst, Author of, ‘Spirituality in the Workplace’ A Tool for Relations, Sustainability and growth in Turbulent and interconnected Markets. Dr Broadhurst is an Aerospace Engineer by trade, Specialist Change Agent, Continuous Improvement Specialist and Transactional & Transitional Leadership Specialist. Dr Broadhurst's professional background includes strategic alignment, implementation and organization in culture and standard ways-of-working through agile business process improvement, re-engineering with lean tools and techniques. He is also a personal (motivation and wellbeing) Change Teacher, Trainer & Coach.

- Showing the world how clever he was by racing after achievements, titles, good jobs, women & materialistic hoarding

- The good news is that you have emotions. The bad news is that you have emotions
- Life is an experience. It’s about having a balanced life. Have fun
- People learn more out of hardship
- Ego vs. Super Ego. It’s harder the cleverer you are
- All you can do is to be the best version of yourself.
- Mantra “I get what I need, not what I want!”
- The Al-Anon Group and how it helped him
- Forgiveness. The only person that you forgive is yourself
- Do the right thing. The right stuff flows. The wrong stuff gets stuck
- Story on cleaning wounds. Physically & the emotional spiritual ones
- HALT. Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired (emotional grit) Clean the wound
- Self Doubt & Denial (wire brush) => Cleaning House => Personal Inventory List => Ism’s
