Haal e hazeen ki baat kya karni
Haseen shaam ki raat kya karni
Jo milna na chaahe tum se kabhi
Phir us se mulaqaat kya karni
Padhaya hai tu ne kisi ko na shaikh
Phir bata qalam dawaat kya karni
Rab woh sab ka, waahid wo aala
Dua maango, tehqeeqaat kya karni
Bakhshi hai us ne jab sabko hayaat
Mazeed hamen saughaat kya karni
Sab kuch to milta hai momin ko
Kisi ki kaho khairaat kya karni
‘Sahil’, jab do gaz zameen hi kaafi hai
Phir tujhe yeh kaaenaat kya karni
