Wo ja le chalo jahan mai e naab ho
Pur sukun ho dil na ke be taab ho
Wo chaman kya jo bin shamshaad ho
Woh insaan kya jo dil se kharaab ho
Mafhoom samajhta hai pinjre ka qaidi
Woh qafas hi kya jo bin khule baab ho
Sheesha o saaghar maikada nahin
Khumgah kya gar rind nahin sharaab ho
Aftaab ki tapish se sookh jaata hai ‘sahil’
Kaash, baarish ho, khul ke sailaab ho
