Gulshan mein aaj kisi ka bharam nahin hai
Dil mein kisi ke der o haram nahin hai
Ulfat nah rafaqat, sarwat ki parastish hai
Sar o samaan kisi ka deen o dharm nahin hai
Munafiq hai kitna jahan aaj ka yaro
Falak se jo tapke woh shabnam nahin hai
Wasal mein kyun woh lutaf nahin hai
Kyun hijar mein bhi woh alam nahin hai
Teri auqaat hi kya hai, Sheikh , bata
Jahan insaan khuda se kam nahin hai
Misl-e haiwan hai, jidhar dekhye
Yeh insaan, yarab, ibn-e aadam nahin hai
Jaye ga kahan dard le kar tu ‘Sahil’
Charah gar pe darman o marham nahin hai
