Naale masrufiyat ke sab, fikr Rab ki kisey
Har ilteja ka jawaab to milta nahin
Yaro, zulmat e shab se shikayat kaisi
Aqlmand, amuman raat ko jaagta nahin
Sambhaalen hum apni hayat ko logo
Zimmedaari se daana to bhaagta nahin
Qusoor us ka nahin sulaane waale ka hai
Zameer to fitratan kabhi sota nahin
Ahsanmandi ho dil mein aur palken jhukin
Sipaas ka lab pe hona laazim hota nahin
Tere shukr ka ek misra hi kaafi hai ‘sahil’
Khuda ki mehr ka hisaab koi rakhta nahin
