Aaj rang nahi hai ‘Sahil’ aabginon mein
Lahoo sukh chuka hai veraan seenon mein
Chala karti thi Saba har subah kabhi
Ab samoom bhi aaya karti hai mahino mein
Khalal dekhiye is zamrrana ka aaj
Log zeher botay hain sairaab zameenon mein
Insaan ko insaan hi nahi maanta, koi
Phir tafreeq kya kaho pathar aur naginon mein
Inkisari thi bunyaad husn kabhi
Haif! naz o ishva hai ab haseenon mein
Apni duniya ka hungama dekh khudaaya
Qeht bohat hai is daur ke qarinon mein
Kis qader pareshan hai insaan, ‘Sahil’
Khoon bhi shaamil hai aaj ke pasinon mein
