The guest this week is Jon Silver. Jon talks about being a filmmaker in Chicago and the influence comedy has in his work.
Jon is an independent filmmaker based in Chicago. He comes from a comedy background. He's the Co-Founder of ShowPup Productions and the former Managing Director of The Annoyance Theater. Jon has worked with Second City and other theaters to produce comedy sketches, short films, web series, TV pilots, and his first feature "The Civil Hoax", was called 'Can't Miss Indie Cinema' by the Chicago Tribune. His second feature is a pirate adventure he made during COVID called "The Scarlet Pirate". He's currently in development of his next feature film.
