Kara will take us on a journey through their experience growing up as a non-binary person in a strict evangelical community characterized by black and white thinking. We'll dive into the social sciences to explore how gender and sexuality show up across diverse societies, and discuss the life-saving importance of creating safe, affirming spaces for the LGBTQ+ community. Together, we'll work on shifting the narrative from shame to pride and embrace the beauty of living authentically.
