The story shines a spotlight into the hearts of two people, and we see the bad, the good and the ugly. The Bad – David seems to be moving the Ark for political reasons and mistakes are made when we don’t hold God in awe. The Good – David gets it right the second time and the wow factor is back – wow about God and wow in worship. The Ugly – ugliness is revealed in a broken unforgiving heart and in another heart that sees people as tools to cement power.
