Long awaited promise finally becomes reality as David is recognised as King over all Israel and Judah. We look back over the series: what qualified David to be God's leader, and what are some of his less attractive features. We end in a reflection that as Christians, we look to Jesus as the true fulfilment of the hope vested in David.
