That first Easter Sunday morning was a whirlwind of emotions. Women going to the tomb with no expectation of anything other than the body still being there. We’re meant to feel the emotions – the suddenness, the shock, the utter astonishment, the confusion. That is what Easter is meant to be – an utterly astonishing surprise that we don’t instantly understand but that changes everything. It changes everything because it’s true.
