Hey, y'all I'm at my newest listing at 255 Pelican Flight Drive on Dewees island. It is an ocean front home, four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, 4,000 square feet, and nearly two acres of land. Check out this view. Now let's take a tour.
Y’all, we are in the entrance foyer here at 255 Pelican Flight Drive. This is a great entrance to the house. It's very welcoming, very wide. So if you need to move furniture in or out, you have a perfect opportunity to here. You do have a landing here for the elevator, and this is a floor where all of your guest rooms are and your office. Let's take a look at those.
For anyone that is working from home or needs to do some schoolwork, you have this grand office here on the first floor, lots of cabinets, drawers, plenty of space for storage. Also have this view of the grand Oaks, and there's a pocket door here so that you can close this off and create a very nice, comfortable, quiet zone.
Just down the hall from the front door, you have a library that leads you into the junior master. Within the junior master, you have your own sitting area. This was a favorite spot for the sellers here to sit and read some books. And it really feels like a tree house in this space, it’s so quiet and you feel like you're in your own world and you can get just, just get lost in whichever novel you're reading.
The en suite does have a full bath and this shower has a tub.
You have this great laundry room here. There is a freezer for extra storage, a nice counter for folding, a utility sink, lots of cabinets, washer and dryer will convey with the home. And this is a great area for washing off pets or any clothes or personal items that can't go in the laundry.
Off the laundry we have one of the bedrooms here. This is a great room for little ones that are visiting. They can have a fantastic sleepover. Lots of giggles I think would be coming out of this space here.
Here we have the third guest bedroom and you can see we have those Transo windows up there. They let in a lot of natural light and move the air around this house, fabulously. And this third bedroom also has an en suite. We have a sink and a shower with a tub.
Now this is the first floor screened porch. You can access this porch from the guest bedroom and from the hallway, and you can see they have a hammock here to relax and enjoy a couple chairs. I'm still feeling a great breeze today. We've got a little light wind today, and you can feel that coming in here to the porch, it's a great spot to sit and visit with family and if you listen, you just hear the sounds of summer with the cicadas and the crashing waves.
So as we go back into the house, I'm gonna show you what I think is my favorite room in all of Charleston. I know what thinking, this is your favorite room, a closet? But y'all, this is actually a temperature controlled wine closet. Obviously the sellers did not leave us their wine, unfortunately, and they are using it as a closet space. But I can just imagine this, these shelves full of wine, all of my favorite reds and roses, which if y'all don't know, those are what I like and just have it perfectly controlled and ready for opening at the end of a busy day.
