You may have had the chance to hear Paul P preciously on Sirius XM Radio Sway In The Morning, as a finalist on Sway's Comedy Search. Or maybe you've seen him on TV in South Florida as a finalist for Miami Ultimate Comedian. He performed on Comedy Central’s New York Comedy Festival, New Faces. His home club is Broadway Comedy Club in New York City.
Andrew Cloninger born in northern Michigan spent his high school years in upstate New York. He began writing in earnest in sixth grade and began to dabble in music seventh and eighth grade. raised in the church he started as a page turner for his pianist grandmother and ran sound at an early age starting his life long pursuit of music and sound. Andrew combined his two passions of writing and music in high school joining his first band. In college he played on the coffeehouse circuit, founded a music festival and played in a jazz band (Daniel Bennett Group) expanding his musical palette and started to share the stage with his heroes. As a audio production student he began making demos for bands and recording his own music resulting in three bedroom pop records under the moniker furr project. Around this time he co-ran a music series in Boston and New York cities with Daniel Bennett. After a few short lived projects Andrew withdrew from performing live and began pursuing playing music and writing separately at home sending tracks to his friends and filling notebooks with poems. Ten years of being creative in this manner had passed when tragedy struck Andrew suffered a bulging disc (c6- c7)in his neck causing nerve damage and permanent disability and the temporary loss of the ability to play music through surgery, rehab and lifestyle changes Andrew has been able to return to the stage and has written his first book of haiku about the ordeal entitled C6-C7 coming out on Atmosphere Press on Oct 3rd 2023.
