Roger has new novel called 'The Digital Meltdown', which concerns a bacterium which eats plastics. Ideonella Scaiensis really exists btw. In my story, scientists improve it in the hope of using it to solve the world's plastic pollution problem, but unfortunately it escapes and attacks plastics randomly including the mother boards of computers. The internet collapses, the digital age ends and the world returns to steam technology. The book is a warning to all about our total dependence on the internet, a young and unproven technology.
