Alejandra María Peña Avilés is a Cultural Manager and Poet from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.
She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Puerto Rico at Aguadilla and a Master’s in Cultural Management and Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.
Currently, she is a Travel Specialist Intern with the USDA, ARS. She is also the creator of Camella Espresso, a creative and inclusive platform that focuses on the benefits of expressive writing for the emotional well-being of Latinxs.❤️
She was chosen to participate in The 6th edition of The International Summer School | Epistemologies of The South: Existing, Resisting, and Fighting through the Arts from the University of Coimbra, Portugal.
