This week, we are talking about why it is important to protect your peace and how to do it. Protecting your peace means being able to care for your physical, mental, and emotional self. In this episode we want you to know that protecting your peace is a journey that includes a lot of self awareness, making decisions and setting boundaries that are in your best interest above all else. Protecting your peace is not something that happens overnight, in fact it is a journey and a process of removing all of the things, people and places that no longer serve you, making changes, and developing skills to make yourself more at ease in your life. This is ultimately that “soft life” that we hear so much about. We will share 9 steps to inner peace for Black Women that we draw on from the book, "Black Women’s Mental Health: Balancing Strength and Vulnerability." This is going to be a good one, so sit back and enjoy.
