This week, on the podcast we are discussing burnout. Burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress leading to anxiety and depression. If we are honest being in this pandemic has not helped the situation. Navigating working from home, virtual school, COVID variants, mask mandates on top of every day life stresses has proven to be a lot. The negative effects of burnout spill over into our daily lives and can cause long term changes in your body that make you vulnerable to illnesses like colds, flu and COVID and we do not want that for you sis. We are going to help you navigate how to tell the difference between stress and burnout, what the emotional, physical and behavioral signs look like and most importantly give you some skills to overcome.
