Ep 91 – Interview with Dr. Sheena C. Howard
In this episode, I have the wonderful opportunity to interview the great Dr. Sheena C. Howard, the FIRST African American woman to win an Eisner Award. Dr. Howard is a professor, a writer, and director. She has written “The Encylopedia of Black Comics, “Black Queer Identity Matrix: Towards an Intergrated Queer Color Framework,” and “Black Comics: Politics of Representation” amongst others. She also wrote the comic book “Superb” under Lion Forge Publications.
