In Psalm 42 we see the honest lament of the psalmist who addresses God, cries out for help, longs to be in God’s presence, and hopes to hope again! They essentially say “I was okay, I’m not okay, but I will be okay.” Hope ripens resilience by remembering and by rituals of joy.
