Kimberlee Peterson is an American photographer. The first 25 years of her journey were spent in front of the camera as an actor. But in 2010, health issues would change the trajectory of her life and open up the world of photography. A space she has spent the last three years creating art in while healing and growing.
In 2020, Kimberlee’s limited series “brokeN,” was born. Using a therapeutic lens, she was able to capture the raw human emotion of her subjects suffering through quarantine, COVID-19, and social and political unrest. The series was published in the German online art magazine Tagree and OpenEye a French online art magazine.
In 2022, OpenEye also featured Kimberlee’s latest limited series called “Duplicitous.” Which is a play on the masks people wear and the things often hidden behind them.
As the owner of Lotta Photography, she stays busy behind the lens and, most recently, has made her directorial debut on a short film, that will be hitting the festival circuit.
