Having lived, worked & travelled in 50-60 countries, I made a decision to settle in Perth, Australia. It had everything, climate, infrastructure, setting, hospitality, low-crime etc. I found it far superior in those respects to similar cities such as San Diego and Cape Town. Of late, the city is changing for the worse and adopting the habits that make many overseas cities unbearable. After returning from abroad recently, I was confronted with Somalis with weapons chasing down unfortunate aborigines in the nightlife district on a Saturday night.
