Description

At 13, Cole Cosgrove is the youngest guest we’ve ever had on the show. His coach, Sam Lomax, raves on social media that he is the next super star. Cole consistently places first in his age group but what got my attention was his presence among the running community. The mutual respect between him and the other athletes. The respect reserved for those of us who always take our next best step. The respect shared between runners of every age. He is proof that sport is the true equalizer and racing is where we meet on common ground. On this episode we talk to him and his parents, Matthew and Kara Cosgrove, about running and learn what drives Cole's passion for excellence at such a young age.
