There's a saying "Sobriety isn't for those who need it. It's not for people who want it. It's for people who do it."

Today, you’re going to hear an incredible running story. After two years of sobriety from heroin and meth, our guest rediscovered his love for running and 5 years later (this past December) he qualified for the Olympic Marathon Team Trials.

Mitch Ammons was a bad drug addict and today we’re going to discuss how he found redemption through our sport.
We kick off the episode discussing pre-race nerves and training before exploring his past and why he strives to give hope to anyone struggling to see to the other side of addiction. Thanks for joining us, Mitch!
