Description

Athletes are at high risk for developing disordered eating and exercise behaviors. This episode aims to spread awareness about the illness that is prevalent among our community. We will answer the following questions:

Why is sharing our stories so important?
How are eating disorders and athletics connected?
What does proper nutrition look like?
What is an eating disorder vs. disordered eating?
Who is at risk for developing an eating disorder/who needs more awareness in this space?
What does treatment looking like and how do we help someone who has an eating disorder?
When and how can running continue to be a positive coping tool in our life?
