I've noticed that when you bring up "business" around people, just about everyone thinks about it in one of two ways.
Either they think of some extremely intelligent dude in a suit and tie, that spends his time crunching numbers, reading charts, running reports, giving presentations, and all this other technical stuff.
Or....
They think about a customer and a provider. Simple.
After noticing this, I've come to think that that first type of "business" is probably actually scaring a lot of people away from business... and I don't blame them!!!
I couldn't handle being an accountant, marketer, project manager, CEO, operations manager, and so on all at the same time! That's why businesses hire people.
But here's the thing. Business is really as hard as you make it out to be, and when you get down to it, business is about servicing your customer.
The business that provides the customer with the best experience always wins.
Period.
