Description

Growing up in the hip-hop culture, there were plenty of trends and movements that, when you look back on them today, you scratch your heads and ask, "What was I thinking when i was rapping that!?" One of those trends that still ensnares us today is the Stop Snitching era. Coined by a rapper in the late 2000's, the movement made civilians who weren't apart of the street life, unwilling participants when illegal activities happened in our neighborhoods. Fast forward to today, and we still see the residue and damage that this sentiment created within predominantly melanin communities all across the U.S.

Listen in as we give the Lord's response to this activity from His Word, and why we believe that through hip-hop music, we have cursed ourselves with the messages that blare from the speakers and headphones of people everywhere. Maybe it's time to second guess our allegiance to this "culture"
