Part 11: delighting in and meditating on God’s words A-Z in the epic acrostic poem. God’s words are everyday words, but let’s not get too cozy with them and lose our sense of awe. These are living and active words, sharp like a surgeon’s knife, able to perform heart surgery. These are not just words on a page, these are a conversation with the Shepherd who walks with us and carries us back when we wander away. These words are priceless treasure, and we need to fight from keeping the treasure from being buried under other competing priorities in our lives. Lord, save us!
