You can’t take it with you. You can’t buy off death. This psalm is more manifesto than prayer. Live contentment and hope in the One who was victorious over the grave “in the morning”. He’s the Good Shepherd, and when you’re with Him you’ll have all you need, and something more solid than all the stuff of the world.
