In this episode, I sit down with Oliver, a Dominican who came to the US with his family as a child. We discuss what it was like for him feeling different in his own community and how he negotiated for life changing money at 24 years old. While not technically a first generation American, he still felt the responsibility and pressures growing up in a world where resources and money were scarce. Today, he is, in my opinion a true success story.
