In this episode of First Gen Friends, I sit down with my husband's sister's boyfriend (I guess saying sister-in-law's boyfriend felt too confusing?), Thomas Rodriguez. We talk about his world, growing up Peruvian and English and having to convince people that he was in fact, Latino. We also discuss family dynamics (the positive and sometimes complicated) and how we both have a lot of similarities although having complete opposite childhoods! Enjoy!
